Dream Wife

“It's a RIOT how Cary carries on!”

Clemson Reade (Cary Grant), a business tycoon with marriage on his mind, is tired of his fiancée Effie (Deborah Kerr), a U.S. diplomat who has more time for work than for him. He sets his sights on Tarji (Betta St. John), a princess trained in the art of pleasing men, whose father rules oil-rich Bukistan. Sidney Sheldon directs the comedy that follows once the State Department assigns Effie to oversee the courtship.
