A fox wedding passes through a forest, a peach orchard stands where trees once did, and a man walks into Van Gogh's paintings. These are eight dreams, each set down exactly as Akira Kurosawa had them. We meet the dreamer, called only "I" (Akira Terao), as a small boy sent out by his mother (Mitsuko Baisho) and as a grown man who keeps walking into the next dream.
