Dreams

Jennifer McCarthy (Jessica Chastain) is a wealthy San Francisco socialite who takes up with Fernando Rodríguez (Isaac Hernández), a young Mexican ballet dancer with a promising future. Michel Franco starts them as lovers who keep the affair quiet, and then Fernando slips across the US-Mexico border without telling anyone. The film is about what money lets a person do to someone who has none, and how love can be the cover for it.
