Drinking Buddies

“A comedy about knowing when to say when.”

Kate (Olivia Wilde) and Luke (Jake Johnson) work at a craft brewery in Chicago, where they drink on the job and trade jokes all day, and nobody can say what exactly they are to each other. Each has a partner, Jill (Anna Kendrick) for Luke and Chris (Ron Livingston) for Kate, and a weekend trip puts all four in one place. Joe Swanberg keeps the dialogue loose and unrehearsed, so the talk sounds like people actually talking.
