Drive

“There ain't no cruise control.”

Toby Wong (Mark Dacascos) is a prototype enhanced human, built to fight, and now running from the hit men a Chinese company has sent to bring him back. He ends up in the car of Malik Brody (Kadeem Hardison), a dread-locked bystander who only wanted a quiet drive. Steve Wang keeps the two of them narrowly ahead of their pursuers, and the odd pairing, a weapon and a talker, turns into an easy kind of friendship.
