Drive, He Said

(1971)Directed by Jack Nicholson95 min · RComedy, Drama
“Don't Lie, Don't Cheat, And Don't Be Afraid!”

Hector Bloom (William Tepper) is the star of the Leopards, his college basketball team, and what he wants most is for the game to stay the only thing he has to think about. Olive (Karen Black) can't decide whether to stay with him, while his roommate Gabriel (Michael Margotta) is busy trying to avoid the Vietnam draft. Jack Nicholson, in his first film as director, follows all three through a campus where Hector keeps playing and keeps drifting.
