Druids

“You know his name. Discover his legend.”

In 60 B.C., a comet crosses the sky over Gaul, and the druids read it as the sign that a king is coming to a land that has gone without one for generations. Jacques Dorfmann follows the arch-druid Guttuart (Max von Sydow) to a gathering of chieftains in Gergovia, where a boy named Vercingetorix watches his father lift the old royal crown. That boy becomes the warrior Vercingetorix (Christopher Lambert).
