Drums Along the Mohawk

“Thrilling! Stirring! Spectacular!”

Lana (Claudette Colbert) leaves her comfortable Albany home in 1776 to follow her new husband Gil (Henry Fonda) north, wanting only a farm of their own in the Mohawk River Valley. John Ford shows the two of them clearing land and building a life while the sound of drums carries down the valley and the war comes closer. Whatever the farm grows, it is Gil and Lana who have to hold onto each other.
