Durval Discos

“Everything in life has an A side and a B side”

Durval (Ary França) wants only to keep things as they are: his vinyl shop in São Paulo, the back rooms where he lives with his mother Carmita (Etty Fraser), and the 1970s Brazilian records he refuses to sell. Then a new maid leaves a five-year-old girl named Kiki in the house with a note promising to return in a couple of days. Anna Muylaert leaves them in the shop, the child between Durval and Carmita, the records stacked on the shelves behind them.
