Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains

Youfu (Qian Youfa), one of four brothers in the Chinese town of Fuyang, wants to hold his family together while love and money keep pulling at each of them. The household gathers around Mother Gu (Du Hong Jun), and Gu Xiaogang follows the brothers through the ordinary days that shape their lives. Fuyang sits in the film's title, borrowed from a painting by Huang Gongwang.
