Dying of the Light

Evan Lake (Nicolas Cage) has spent his career at the CIA, and he wants one more chance at the terrorist Banir (Alexander Karim), the man he has hunted for years. The agency has ordered him to retire, but his protégé Milton Schultz (Anton Yelchin) turns up evidence that Banir is alive, and Lake goes after him on his own, across continents. Paul Schrader keeps the pace tight and the mood restless, setting it against Lake's own failing health.
