E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

“He is afraid. He is totally alone. He is 3,000,000 light years from home.”

Elliott (Henry Thomas), a lonely boy in suburban California, discovers an alien stranded in his backyard and wants to help him get home. With his sister Gertie (Drew Barrymore) and brother Michael (Robert MacNaughton), Elliott hides E.T. and tries to understand what the creature needs to phone his ship. By the end, Elliott has to let go of the only friend who has ever truly seen him.
