“If you want to live, you will obey.”

A phone rings, and the woman on the other end, a stranger, tells Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) exactly what to do next, using their phones and the machines around them to watch every move. D.J. Caruso sends the two of them running as the country's most-wanted fugitives, neither knowing who is giving the orders. Jerry just wants his family out of reach, and he follows the voice anyway.
