Earth vs. the Spider

“The Spider will eat you alive!”

A giant spider has made its home in a cave outside a small town, and it is getting hungry. Carol Flynn (June Kenney) and her high school science teacher Art Kingman (Ed Kemmer) join the town's teenagers to fight it. Bert I. Gordon sets the whole panic in one small place, which keeps a title about the Earth very local, and the film is really about how fast ordinary people find their nerve.
