Earth vs. the Spider

“Science made him a mutant... Nature made him a killer.”

The year is 2001, and Quentin Kemmer (Devon Gummersall) is a shy comic book fan who agrees to an injection of an experimental serum made from spiders. Soon bodies turn up wrapped in cobwebs, and Detective Inspector Jack Grillo (Dan Aykroyd) takes the case. Scott Ziehl made the film for Cinemax as a tribute to American International Pictures, borrowing the title of Bert I. Gordon's 1958 spider picture.
