Easy Living

Pete Wilson (Victor Mature), a halfback for the Los Angeles Rams, learns his heart is bad enough that one more hard hit could finish him. He goes home to Liza (Lizabeth Scott), a wife who wants the money and the life that come with his playing, while Anne (Lucille Ball), the team secretary, quietly loves him. Jacques Tourneur's film leaves Pete holding a choice between the game that pays for everything and the body that is running out.
