Easy Virtue

“Let's Misbehave!”

Larita Whittaker (Jessica Biel) is a glamorous American who has just married a young Englishman, and she is not shy about it. She follows John (Ben Barnes) to his family's country house, where his mother, Mrs. Whittaker (Kristin Scott Thomas), receives her with a stiff smile and no intention of warming up. Stephan Elliott sets Coward's old play to jazz-age songs, and the two women size each other up across the dinner table, both of them playing for John.
