Eat Drink Man Woman

“A comedy to arouse your appetite.”

In modern Taipei, the widowed master chef Mr. Chu (Lung Sihung) still cooks an enormous Sunday dinner for his three unmarried daughters, Jia-Jen (Yang Kuei-mei), Jia-Chien (Jacklyn Wu Chien-Lien) and Jia-Ning (Wang Yu-wen). Ang Lee gives the kitchen as much screen time as the dining table. When a new man enters each daughter's life, the household that ran around that table begins to change, and Chu keeps cooking for it.
