Eating Raoul

“A tasty comedy of bad manners.”

In early-1980s Los Angeles, Paul (Paul Bartel) and Mary Bland (Mary Woronov) keep to themselves in an apartment building full of swingers, and they find the noise and the company hard to stand. They are saving for a restaurant of their own, and one accident shows them a way to be rid of the neighbors and pay for it. Bartel directs it in a flat, polite deadpan, as though nothing the Blands do deserves a raised voice.
