Ecce Bombo

Michele Apicella (Nanni Moretti) and his friends were student protesters in 1968, and ten years later they cannot work out what to do with themselves. They try self-criticism, sit down to talk it through, and end up talking in circles with nothing settled. Moretti, who also wrote the film, shot it on 16 mm, and the friendship that holds these four together is made mostly of the arguments they keep having.
