“Security comes at a price...”

In 2009, a young American engineer named Max Peterson (Shane West) starts receiving text messages on his cell phone that promise him untold wealth. Greg Marcks follows the offer as it turns him into a target, with security operatives chasing him across the globe and a government official, Raymond Burke (Martin Sheen), working toward an agenda of his own. Opposite Max stands Agent Dave Grant (Ving Rhames), the man sent after him.
