Echoes of the Rainbow

“Life was a hurricane in 1969. Love became the roof for a shoe-maker's family.”

Eight-year-old Big Ears (Buzz Chung Shiu-Tiu) can't keep his hands off other people's things, and he roams a tight-knit neighborhood in 1960s Hong Kong where his parents, Mr. Law (Simon Yam) and Mrs. Law (Sandra Ng Kwan-yu), run the shoe store. His older brother Desmond (Aarif Rahman) is the son every family wishes they had. Alex Law tells it through Big Ears's eyes, and the boy keeps taking things, trying to find his own place beside a brother nobody can match.
