Ed Wood

“Movies were his passion. Women were his inspiration. Angora sweaters were his weakness.”

Ed Wood (Johnny Depp) is pitching one low-budget picture after another to Hollywood producers, and he is finding the money and the crew himself. His closest friend is Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau), the aging horror star he meets by chance and casts in nearly everything. Tim Burton surrounds Ed with a loyal, odd circle of misfits, and Ed keeps believing, with total cheer, that each new film will be the one that makes his name.
