Eddie the Eagle

“Win or lose, always aim high.”

Eddie Edwards (Taron Egerton) has wanted to be an Olympian since childhood, and when nothing else works, he settles on ski jumping, a sport no British athlete has entered at the Games since 1928. He finds a reluctant coach in Bronson Peary (Hugh Jackman), a rebellious figure who has little patience for him at first. Dexter Fletcher builds the film around that odd pairing, two stubborn men learning to rely on each other.
