Eddington

(2025)Directed by Ari Aster148 min · RWestern, Comedy, Crime
“Hindsight is 2020.”

In May of 2020, a standoff between Sheriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) and Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal) sets neighbor against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico. Ari Aster writes it as a neo-Western, with a contested election, a pandemic and the George Floyd protests all landing on one small town. Everyone is certain they're right, and nobody can quite hear anyone else.
