Edge of Tomorrow

“Live. Die. Repeat.”

Major Bill Cage (Tom Cruise) has never seen combat, and within minutes of being dropped onto a beach in occupied Europe he is dead, taking an alien down with him. Then he wakes at the start of the same day, and it keeps happening, the cause being that contact with the creature. Doug Liman puts Cage through each morning again and again, a coward learning the ground one death at a time.
