Edward Scissorhands

Edward (Johnny Depp) is an artificial being with scissors where his hands should be, left unfinished in a gothic mansion at the edge of a suburb. When Peg (Dianne Wiest), an Avon lady, discovers him and brings him home, he enters a world of manicured lawns and tract houses that has no use for his careful, dangerous hands. He falls in love with Kim (Winona Ryder), but there is no life for someone made of contradiction.
