Edward Scissorhands

“Innocence is what he knows. Beauty is what she sees.”

Edward (Johnny Depp) is an unfinished creation with blades where his hands should be, left alone in a hilltop mansion until Peg (Dianne Wiest) climbs up and brings him home to her pastel suburb. Tim Burton lets the neighbors fuss over him, and Edward falls for Peg's teenage daughter Kim (Winona Ryder). It is a story about how easily a place welcomes someone different, and how quickly that welcome can change.
