EGG

Tina (Alysia Reiner), a conceptual artist, wants to make a point about motherhood, so she has a surrogate, Kiki (Anna Camp), carry her child. Her old art school rival Karen (Christina Hendricks), eight months pregnant herself, comes to meet Kiki, and the two couples end up in one room with a lot to say. Marianna Palka keeps the film mostly to that single gathering, which lets every awkward pause and sideways remark land.
