Egon Schiele: Death and the Maiden

Egon Schiele (Noah Saavedra) is a young painter in Vienna in 1910, provocative and free, drawing nudes that shock the city as much as they draw it in. Around him move his sister Gerti (Maresi Riegner), his model Wally Neuziel (Valerie Pachner) and the women he sketches, each one pulled into his work. Dieter Berner stages Schiele's Vienna as a bohemian circle of studios and sitters, and keeps his camera close to the faces.
