Eismayer

Nobody on the Austrian base can say why Vice Lieutenant Eismayer (Gerhard Liebmann), the army's most feared drill trainer, has gone quiet whenever one new recruit is near. David Wagner's debut sets his shouting and his married life in the barracks beside Mario Falak (Luka Dimic), a young soldier who is openly gay. The film gives its attention to how much a man can hold back from his own life, and who he serves while doing it.
