El amor brujo

Carmelo (Antonio Gades) has loved Candela (Cristina Hoyos) since he was a boy in a Gypsy village, and when he comes home after four years in prison he tells her so. She is still bound to her dead husband José, whose ghost she dances with every night at the spot where he was stabbed. Carlos Saura stages it as flamenco, and Carmelo has to find a way to reach a woman who belongs to the dead.
