El analfabeto

Inocencio Prieto y Calvo (Cantinflas) can't read, and the letter in his hands says he has inherited two million pesos from his uncle. At the drugstore he watches a girl read with no trouble, and he puts the letter away to learn the words himself. Miguel M. Delgado sets his lessons among neighbors and teachers who laugh and scold, a film that finds the fun in a grown man starting at the alphabet.
