El bolero de Raquel

A bootblack known as Bolero (Cantinflas) ends up as the guardian of an orphan boy named Chavita (Paquito Fernández) without ever having planned for it. Miguel M. Delgado follows him through a Mexico City of shoe stands and neighbors, where he gives the boy his time, his money and most of his attention. The film's idea is a plain one: a man with very little can still make a home for a child.
