El bonaerense

Zapa (Jorge Román) is a locksmith in a quiet town deep in Buenos Aires province, and he wants a way out of it. After a crime lands him in trouble, his uncle, a retired policeman, gets him into the Provincial Police as a recruit in the sprawl of Greater Buenos Aires' West Zone. Pablo Trapero, working with naturalistic performances and a documentary eye, follows Zapa as he learns what the job actually asks of a man in a uniform and what he is willing to give it.
