El crack dos

The film is set in Madrid in the early 1980s, a city of cheap bars and dim offices where the private detective Germán Areta (Alfredo Landa), called El Piojo, takes a job tracing the life of a gay man who has left his partner. When the two men turn up dead, the police see a killing and a suicide and close the matter. José Luis Garci follows Areta as he refuses that neat answer, and he keeps asking questions that nobody around him wants to hear.
