El estudiante

Nobody in Guanajuato quite knows why a 70-year-old man has turned up at the university with a student's schedule and a backpack. Chano (Jorge Lavat) has retired to the town and enrolled, and he finds himself in classrooms full of young people, among them Sophia (Jeannine Derbez), bound to them by Don Quijote de la Mancha. Roberto Girault films the hillside town and its lecture halls at an easy pace, giving the generations room to get acquainted.
