El Jeremías

“What does he want to be when he grows up?”

Jeremías (Martín Castro) is eight years old and living in Sonora with a family that has little money, until he learns that he is a gifted child. A psychologist reaches out to him with promises of a larger world, and the offer would take him away from his grandmother Herminia (Isela Vega) and the rest of the household. Pato Safa keeps the story close to a child's eye level, so every choice Jeremías faces feels as big as it does to him.
