El Mariachi

“With a guitar in his hand and a price on his head, he wasn't looking for trouble. But trouble came looking for him.”

Two men arrive in the same Mexican border town carrying the same black guitar case, and only one of them keeps a gun inside. El Mariachi (Carlos Gallardo) just wants work playing, but a drug lord's henchmen take him for Azul (Reinol Martinez), the killer, and Robert Rodriguez sends them after him through the streets. The case is all that marks him, and as long as he carries it, he's a target.
