El Norte

Enrique (David Villalpando) and his sister Rosa (Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez) are young Guatemalans who leave home because staying has become dangerous. Gregory Nava follows them north through Mexico toward the United States, where they hope to start a new life, with only each other and what they can carry. Every border, every stranger, and every bargain they make along the way tests how far one sibling will go to keep the other safe.
