El profe

A small town in the middle of nowhere has sent word to a school asking for a teacher, and the answer arrives as Sócrates García (Cantinflas), who has no idea what he is walking into. The town's corrupt leaders, led by Don Margarito Vázquez (Víctor Alcocer), spend the film trying to run him out. Miguel M. Delgado keeps him in the schoolroom with the children, answering every threat with a joke and not budging.
