El Sur

Estrella (Sonsoles Aranguren), eight years old, begins to wonder about the south, the place her father, Agustín (Omero Antonutti), never speaks of and will not go back to. Víctor Erice tells it as her memory of growing up in the North of Spain, with her father at the center of it. At fifteen, Estrella (Icíar Bollaín) is still trying to understand a man she has only ever known in part.
