Election 2

“Even a criminal can serve his country.”

Nobody in the Triad society seems willing to say why the chairman's two-year term can't simply be renewed, but Lok (Simon Yam) is already counting votes. Jimmy (Louis Koo) wants to leave the gang and make his money in business with mainland China, and the election keeps pulling him back toward it. Johnnie To follows Lok as he works to keep the chair, and the job starts to look like the one thing he can't let go.
