Election

“POWER, HE WANTS IT AND HE WILL GET IT.”

Big D (Tony Leung Ka-fai) has lost the vote to run the Wo Lin Shing triad, and he is not a man who accepts a count. The winner is Lok (Simon Yam), the calmer, better-liked elder, who is handed the dragon-head baton, the object that makes a chairman's word law. Johnnie To follows the two men as Big D decides the baton should be his, whatever the ballot says, and what he is willing to give up to hold it.
