“A movie about miracles...”

Rachel (Julia Garner) grows up in a polygamist colony in southern Utah, where a cassette tape found on her fifteenth birthday is the first rock and roll she has ever heard. Weeks later she is sure the tape explains a miracle in her own life, so she leaves her family and runs to Las Vegas to find the singer. Rebecca Thomas, in her first feature, follows her through the city with the same open-eyed wonder Rachel brings to it.
