Electroma

Two robots in black leather jackets and glossy helmets drive across a dry, empty landscape, and the film never explains where they are going. What they want is to become human, and that is all the facts allow. Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo follow Hero Robot #1 (Peter Hurteau) and Hero Robot #2 (Michael Reich) with almost no dialogue, so the two of them in their helmets are what we are left watching.
