Elemental

Ember (Leah Lewis) is a fiery elemental who has lived her whole life hidden away, her kind banished from the city long ago. When she accidentally escapes into the wider world, she meets Wade (Mamoudou Athie), a gentle water-form worker who agrees to help her navigate the place where fire and water are supposed to never mix. As they move through the city together, the impossible friendship between them becomes love.
