Elena (Necar Zadegan) is a pastor's wife who sits in the front pew each Sunday while her husband Barry (Gary Weeks) preaches against homosexuality. A chance meeting with the novelist Peyton (Thunderbird Dinwiddie) draws her into an affair she cannot talk herself out of. Nicole Conn, drawing loosely on her own romance, puts the whole marriage, the congregation and the life Elena has built at risk.
