Elephants and Grass

Six separate stories run side by side in Derviş Zaim's film, and the people in them hardly seem to share a world. One follows Camoka (Ali Sürmeli), another Bakan Aziz Bebek (Bülent Kayabaş), and a third a woman nicknamed the Marathon Runner, Havva Adem (Sanem Çelik). Sabit Üzücü (Haluk Bilginer) carries a thread of his own, each of them pressed by a private want that the others can't see.
