Elling
“They're packed and ready for the greatest adventure of their lives. All they have to do is get out of the house.”
Elling (Per Christian Ellefsen) is forty and a would-be poet who has never lived without his mother, until she dies and he is sent to a state institution. There he shares a room with Kjell Bjarne (Sven Nordin), a gentle giant in his forties who thinks constantly about women. Petter Næss follows the two as the state tries to put them in an apartment of their own in Oslo, where each step outside is a risk neither is ready to take.
