Why is a six-year-old living in the penthouse of New York's Plaza Hotel, and what is she planning for the night of the ball? Eloise (Sofia Vassilieva) has Nanny (Julie Andrews) to mind her while her mother is away, and she has a prince to meet, a new friend named Leon (Kintaro Akiyama), and matchmaking to arrange for the grown-ups. Kevin Lima sends her through the halls and out across the city, with Mr. Salomone (Jeffrey Tambor) trying to keep up.
